With 200+ HDBaseT Alliance members, thousands of HDBaseT products, and considerable resources invested in HDBaseT products, we must ensure that we stay current on market trends and forecasts, and that HDBaseT remains future-proof.

What is the best way to accomplish this?

For one, we are always attuned to the trends and technological advancements of the market.  It is also important for us to hear what our members have to say as well – what have they learned recently, where do they see a specific need, what would they like to achieve. Just as important, we want to listen to, discuss and dissect all the relevant topics with the top industry leaders in the sector.

These are the goals of the HDBaseT World Congress, a yearly event bringing together Alliance members and industry leaders to continue to advance our technology to better serve the ProAV market.

This year, the event will be held on November 5-7, in Hong Kong.

We have an initial agenda, with relevant and comprehensive presentations and sessions.

We want to address the most relevant topics in the industry today, such as:

• In-depth overview of the ProAV industry, including leading verticals, global trends and growth opportunities
• Updates and implications of HDMI 2.1, HDCP, USB 4.0, and cybersecurity in the AV market
• The latest on HDBaseT Spec 3.0, Spec 4.0, PCIe extension
• The road ahead for HDBaseT & AV over IP
• In-depth review of the Valens’ Stello VS3000 chipset (supporting HDBaseT Spec 3.0)
• The opportunities and challenges of the AV market in China

As with previous Congress meetings, we will also hold in-person AV, Marketing and Medical Work Group sessions.  Although Work Group participation is usually open only to Contributor members, at the Congress all attendees are welcome to join the Work Group meetings and contribute their views and knowledge to the ongoing discussions and tasks.
